  10. OVERVIEW

  12. STATsimple was developed to provide an alternative to expensive and often difficult-to-use statistical software. The statistical routines included in this version are:

  14.    • Descriptive statistics
  15.    • Histogram plot
  16.    • Student's t-test
  17.    • Linear regression
  18.    • Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)
  19.    • Bonferroni modified t-tests

  22. STATSIMPLE WILL RUN ON A SYSTEM 6 MAC-PLUS WITH 500K OF AVAILABLE RAM

  24. STATsimple has special programming routines to accommodate all Macs from the Mac Plus running System 6.0.8. The entire application can fit on a double density floppy disk and requires only 500K of available RAM to run.

  27. THE ACCOMPANYING TUTORIAL WILL GET YOU STARTED IN JUST A FEW MINUTES

  29. Open the Tutorial file and follow the instructions. If you're running System 6 without Multi-Finder, open the Tutorial file, print it out, then open STATsimple and follow the instructions on your printout.

  32. WHY REGISTER YOUR COPY OF STATSIMPLE?

  34. Although the unregistered copy of STATsimple is fully functional, it will only accommodate 4 samples with a maximum of 7 observations per sample. After registration, your copy of STATsimple will accommodate 25 samples with 200 observations per sample.

  40. HOW TO REGISTER YOUR COPY OF STATSIMPLE

  42. 1. Print the "Registration Form" file.
  43. 2. Complete the registration information.
  44. 3. Make out a Cheque or Money Order for the amount of $20 US dollars ($28 CDN for Canadian residents).

  48. 4. Send the registration form and cheque or money order to:
